New Foundations - S4HANA Transformation Technical Manager
On-site · Meyrin, Geneva, Switzerland
Job Summary
New Foundations is Richemont’s multi-year transformation programme to simplify and align business processes and technology for SAP S/4HANA migration. As Technical Manager, you will own the target-state technology architecture—defining the SAP S/4HANA-centered landscape, including ERP core, satellites, integrations, and extensions on SAP BTP and third-party platforms—and translate scope and simplification decisions into a scalable architecture blueprint. You will define ERP boundaries, manage the integration and extensibility strategy (APIs, middleware, event-driven patterns), assess technical feasibility and sequencing, prepare architecture guardrails, and partner with product/technical teams to upskill on SAP S/4HANA. Success relies on senior experience in large-scale ERP/platform transformations, deep SAP S/4HANA knowledge, and ability to engage with ExCo-level stakeholders across international, multi-entity environments. The role emphasizes long-term operability, scalability, and credible authority over technology decisions surrounding the transformation. The journey includes collaboration with Group Platforms, solution design input, and a governance framework to enable a scalable, business-led ERP transformation.
Required Qualifications
- Senior experience in large-scale ERP and platform transformations (SAP S/4HANA is a must)
- Proven track record in Technical Architecture in complex environments
- Deep experience designing hybrid landscapes (ERP, satellites, data, integrations, cloud platforms)
- Strong mastery of SAP S/4HANA architecture patterns, clean-core principles and extensibility models
- Deep understanding of integration architectures, APIs, middleware and SAP BTP
- Ability to translate simplification and legacy constraints into forward-looking architecture choices
- Structured decision framing with focus on long-term operability and scalability
