New Construction Project Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate project submittals and track production timelines for a construction/engineering project portfolio. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings, create and manage submittal packages, and obtain approvals for equipment, drawings, and site requirements. Act as a key liaison with field supervisors, contractors, owners, and government agencies (e.g., Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC) to ensure timely project execution. Assist in designing elevator layouts, prepare government project documentation, and develop knowledge of industry codes and standards (A17.1, A18.1, B20, ADA). Maintain accurate project documentation, coordinate deliveries and releases to manufacturers, and support cross-functional teams including design consultants and architects. Strong emphasis on organization, communication, and attention to detail, with capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe; 2D/3D drafting skills are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Adobe
- Experience maintaining organized digital filing systems
- Familiarity with elevator systems preferred
- 2D/3D drafting experience preferred
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards is a plus
