NEW COMP - Remote Overnight Acute Care Radiologist

Job Summary
Conduct whole-body acute care imaging via remote coverage for emergency and inpatient services, primarily utilizing CT, US, and XR modalities. Provide remote support to residents during overnight shifts and staff in tandem with existing emergency and neuroradiology colleagues. Operate within a 24/7/365 schedule involving 13 weeks of clinical duty per year, consisting of 7-day blocks from 10pm to 7am followed by 21 days off. Work remotely from anywhere in the USA except Alaska, Hawaii, and New Jersey, communicating via Microsoft Teams with assistance from a 24-hour reading room coordinator.
Required Qualifications
- ABR Board-certified/eligible
- eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license
- 13 weeks of clinical duty per year
- 7-day blocks of overnight shifts (10pm-7am)
- 21 days off
- Work remotely from home anywhere in the USA except Alaska, Hawaii, and New Jersey
- Microsoft Teams used for communication
- assistance from 24-hour reading room coordinator
- whole-body acute care imaging (ED & Inpatient)
- Mainly CT, US, and XR
- small component of MRI
- staffed in tandem with existing emergency/acute care radiologists
- emergency neuroradiologist
- becoming the 5th overnight radiologist per night in the healthcare system
- Provide remote support to residents who currently work overnight
- interest in acute care imaging
- strong clinical skills in multiple modalities and organ systems
- thrive in a fast-paced emergency and inpatient setting
- work well in collaboration with other radiologists
- prepared to participate in both clinical and non-clinical divisional activities
- including teaching and trainee supervision
- Eastern (EST) time zone business hours
