Job Summary
Review documents from Public Adjusters to ensure consistency and accuracy, rejecting inconsistent submissions and following up daily until revised documents are received. Report designated claims to Insurance Carriers, submit paperwork, and add opened claims to the internal tracker while updating the estimating master list. Categorize each claim for accurate email tracking, send lists to the Claims Manager for rep assignments, and address team questions or concerns regarding claim processing. Ensure all claims are reported to carriers timely and obtain Head of Public Adjusters approval for any contract amendments.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to review documents provided by Public Adjusters to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Ability to reject inconsistent or inaccurate documents back to the Public Adjuster
- Ability to inform Public Adjusters why a claim is being rejected
- Ability to follow up with Public Adjusters on a daily basis until revised documents are received
- Ability to send lists to Claims Manager to obtain claim rep assignments
- Ability to report claims to Insurance Carriers and submit paperwork for designated claims
- Ability to process the number of New Claims for other designated claims
- Ability to submit documents and checklists for New Claims Reporting with special instructions
- Ability to address questions or concerns from the team reporting claims
- Ability to add claims to the company's internal claims tracker
- Ability to update the estimating master list after a claim is opened in the Claim Management system
- Ability to ensure all claims are reported to the Insurance Carrier timely
- Ability to properly categorize each claim for accurate email tracking
- Ability to obtain head of Public Adjusters approval prior to moving forward with amended claims
