Job Summary
Lead and grow the new vehicle sales operation in a fast-paced, professional dealership environment. Oversee day-to-day operations of the new car sales department to meet sales targets, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Coach and support new car sales consultants to improve performance, product knowledge, and closing effectiveness. Engage directly with customers throughout the sales process from greeting on the lot to final delivery. Ensure the team understands customer needs and matches them with appropriate new vehicle options, serving as a subject-matter expert on inventory, features, options, and emerging automotive technologies. Monitor and manage inventory levels, pricing strategies, and merchandising standards; oversee a high-quality vehicle delivery experience with customers trained on vehicle operations. Maintain strong customer follow-up through the dealership CRM and collaborate with Finance, Service, and upper management to support overall performance.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with driving record meeting dealership standards
- Leadership ability to coach, motivate, and develop a sales team
- Strong verbal and written communication; active listening
- Professional, well-groomed appearance
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
