New Business Manager - Omaha, Lincoln, and Grand Island Area

Responsible for sourcing and developing profitable new business that can be transitioned to a Territory Manager. Pursues high-potential sales leads to convert them into US Foods customers to achieve annual sales and profit plans. Develops a sound business plan to capture market share within the division’s footprint, focusing on accounts with substantial sales potential; maintains a pipeline of new, emerging high-potential clients. Produces new account revenue in line with targets (e.g., minimum $2M in year one, $6M in subsequent years) and collaborates with Category/Segment Specialists to create pricing and offers for prospective accounts. Completes new customer credit applications and ensures effective onboarding with the TM and Sales Coordinator, including AR responsibilities in development. Uses company IT tools for lead generation and communicates insights to District Sales Managers. Attends sales meetings, food shows, and industry events to network with prospective accounts; shares knowledge with TMs on onboarding, account research, penetration, warming, and closing techniques. Travel may be required; contributes to ongoing relationships with key decision makers and conducts Customer Business Reviews as needed. Strong sales, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
