Job Summary

New Business Executive is responsible for the full sales life-cycle of Midmarket/Enterprise accounts within Texas and Oklahoma, including discovery, product demonstrations, onsite meetings, negotiations, and closing deals. The role requires building and managing a robust pipeline, forecasting with accuracy, collaborating with Marketing and Product, keeping CRM up to date, and achieving revenue objectives. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience in K-12 within TX/OK, experience closing technology deals in the K-12 government/education tech verticals, a track record of quota attainment, strong communication and EQ, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. The position emphasizes hands-on sales techniques, strategic account management, and contributing to market growth through events and network-building.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technology sales experience in a B2B SaaS environment in K-12 in Texas and Oklahoma
  • Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing technology deals in K-12 in the Texas and Oklahoma markets
  • Proven history of exceeding past individual contributor quota
  • Technically minded with understanding of B2B Sales and experience selling into government entities
  • Strong communication, analytic, and listening skills; desire for constant improvement
  • Ability to operate with high-energy and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build scalable processes and optimize them over time
  • Exceptional presentation skills with effective written and verbal communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and identify solutions to meet those needs
  • Proven track record of over-achieving quotas
  • Strong EQ and influencing skills
