One-year advanced Transplant Nephrology fellowship opportunity at Northwell Health/UCS Zucker School of Medicine in Hofstra/Northwell, Long Island, NY. The fellow will gain expertise in managing kidney transplant patients at Northwell Health Transplant Institute, including outpatient care, donor/candidate selection, perioperative and longitudinal post-transplant management, with rotations in immunogenetics and transplant nephropathology. The program involves involvement in multiorgan transplantation planning and research opportunities, with the goal of meeting UNOS criteria for transplant nephrologist certification and potential medical directorship of a kidney transplant program. Visa candidates are supported. Applicants should have completed U.S.-based internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship, and will be evaluated on academic accomplishments, clinical training, enthusiasm, and dedication to transplant nephrology.
