Job Summary
Build customer loyalty by uncovering financial needs and recommending tailored products and solutions. Open new consumer and business accounts while managing the full customer experience, including on-boarding and resolving service issues. Conduct outbound sales activities such as meeting local businesses and attending community events to drive visibility. Connect clients to loan, mortgage, treasury, or investment specialists for specialized needs and follow up by phone to ensure satisfaction. Assist customers in the lobby and over the phone, educating them on self-service technologies while adhering to privacy policies and all federal, state, and local regulatory rules. Complete required regulatory compliance training and perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or higher
- Minimum 6 months of Teller experience
- Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators
- Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day
- Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management
- Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance
- Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes
- Must be able to lift or reach with hands and arms (occasionally)
- Must live within 30 minutes of the bank's location listed below
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
