Job Summary
New Accounts Administrator for a temporary position in Aviso Wealth's Operations team to manage day-to-day processing of new and fee-based accounts in the IIROC dealer space. Responsibilities include setting up new accounts with SLAs, maintaining fee-based programs, ensuring proper protocol and coded transactions, using Laserfiche, OSM, and Dataphile in compliance with policy and taxation rules, updating internal manuals, cross-training, and contributing to continuous improvement. The role requires accurate processing, clear notes, collaboration with peers and supervisors, and meeting partner/client expectations. Preferred qualifications include post-secondary studies in Finance/Business, CSC/IFIC coursework as assets, and bilingual English/French capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of post-secondary program in Finance or Business preferred
- Minimum one year experience in an administrative capacity (mutual fund or financial industry preferred)
- Dataphile knowledge is an asset
- Background in the Credit Union system is an asset
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) coursework is an asset
- Fluent English; bilingual in French is an asset
