Job Summary
Neutralization of process chemicals in a plant, supervision of wash-down operations in the designated area, and management of neutralization pools. Maintain water quality for in-plant processes, monitor pumps and pools, ensure safety and proper PPE usage, and keep procedural documentation compliant with company, state, and local rules. Daily responsibilities include maintaining water flow, servicing equipment, and assisting the supervisor in guiding wash-down personnel.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Understand written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Understanding of basic chemical processes in an industrial environment
- Understanding wastewater operations
- Maintain detailed documentation for regulatory compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
