Job Summary
Inpatient Neurosurgery Physician Assistant needed to support neurosurgeons in both outpatient and inpatient settings at Jersey Shore University Medical Center (Neptune, NJ). Full-time role focusing on surgical cases; duties include patient histories and physicals, ordering/interpreting diagnostics, managing conditions, prescribing medications, participating in interdisciplinary rounds, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation in line with Hackensack Meridian Health standards. Must have completed an AMA-accredited PA program, hold PA licensure, NCCPA certification, and BLS; strong communication and computer skills required. Weekend and holiday coverage required.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an approved physician's assistant program
- Physician Assistant License
- National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- BLS HCP Certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office and/or Google Suite)
