Job Summary
Manage neurosurgical inpatient care for post-operative, neurocritical, trauma, spinal, and cranial neurosurgery patients across the Medical Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and Emergency Department. Provide 100% inpatient floor coverage with no operating room responsibilities, adhering to a 7 days on/7 days off schedule with shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. No call coverage is required. Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications and hold a Montana license or IMLC eligibility. Credentialing takes approximately 90 days. Utilize Cerner for electronic medical record documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- 7 days on/7 days off schedule
- 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM shifts
- No call coverage
- 100% inpatient floor coverage
- No operating room responsibilities
- Neurosurgical inpatient management including post-operative care
- Neurocritical care
