Neurosurgery NP/PA - Clinic & Surgery

Assess physical needs of patients in the clinic setting and order, interpret, and record results of clinical tests. Prescribe medications and make recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment while relying on extensive experience to plan goals for a variety of illnesses. Function as a consultant, facilitator, educator, change agent, program designer, and resource person to a defined patient population and caregivers. Assume a leadership role in strengthening collaborative relationships with physicians, healthcare leaders, and nurses to improve patient and family outcomes along the care continuum. Maintain advanced clinical practice through knowledge and competence in research, leadership, consultation, education, and professional growth.
