Job Summary
Neurosurgery clinical faculty/physician position at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Responsibilities include providing expert inpatient and outpatient treatment for spinal disorders, incorporating endoscopic spine surgical techniques, supervising medical students, residents, and spine fellows, and engaging in research with potential NIH or industry collaborations. Opportunities for academic leadership within national/international spinal surgery societies, along with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive total compensation for a full-time 1.0 FTE role. Department-supported clinical footprint includes a 32-bed spine inpatient unit and a 28-bed neuroscience ICU; fellowship training in spinal surgery is preferred. Required Qualifications
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree (or equivalent)
- Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS)
- Eligible for an unrestricted medical license to practice in Illinois
