Job Summary
Academic neurosurgeon sought for spine-focused clinical care, teaching, and research as Associate or Full Professor at Rush University Medical Center. Responsibilities include providing inpatient and outpatient treatment for spinal disorders, employing endoscopic spine techniques, supervising medical students, residents, and spine fellows, and pursuing primary or collaborative research with potential NIH and industry funding. Must hold an MD (or MD/PhD) and be ABNS-certified or eligible, with eligibility for an unrestricted Illinois medical license. Fellowship training in spinal surgery is preferred. The position includes a comprehensive compensation package with relocation allowances and opportunities for leadership within national/international spine societies.
Required Qualifications

- Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS)
