Job Summary
Provide medical management of the neurosurgery patient population as an Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA/CNS). Role includes admissions, consultations, subsequent day visits, discharges in inpatient settings, and independent outpatient/inpatient practice with physician collaboration. Responsibilities include ordering and managing appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies, performing accurate history and physical exams, maintaining prescriptive authority in accordance with laws, participating in the operating room as a first assist, and adhering to state-board licensure and certification requirements. Requires Master’s degree and current national certification/licensure; flexible rotations/locations as needed to meet patient care needs.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- Advanced Practice Provider Certification (MO/KS)
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- State Board requirements and licensure for MO/KS
- National certification and licensure as required by State Boards and Saint Luke’s Health System
