Job Summary
Assess patients with complete history and physicals, order diagnostic procedures, and manage acute and complex chronic conditions through differential diagnosis and plan of care formulation. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe therapeutic interventions, and perform advanced procedures consistent with privileges. Document daily progress notes, transfer summaries, and discharge summaries while maintaining compliance standards. Serve as the first responder for nursing and house staff during patient status changes or resuscitative interventions. Engage in preceptorship, education, and active participation in Advanced Practice Grand Rounds and specialty meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- National Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- BLS certification
- Work Shift Rotating (United States of America)
- Worker Sub Type Regular Employee
