Job Summary
Board-certified/board-eligible neurosurgeon to join a Level I Trauma Center neuroscience program. Work within a well-established neuroscience program, collaborating with neurosurgery, neurology, critical care, emergency medicine, and other specialties. Supported by four dedicated Advanced Practice Providers; access an in-hospital outpatient clinic; participate in on-call duties; contribute to a robust referral network and OSF HealthCare’s physician leadership development. On offer is a full-time clinical base salary with a signing bonus, relocation services, comprehensive benefits, and a physician leadership pathway. The role requires Illinois medical licensure, DEA registration, and board certification/eligibility in Neurosurgery, with credentialing for Medicare/Medicaid and professional liability coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice medicine in Illinois, or eligible for Illinois license
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery
- Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage
