Job Summary
Board-certified/eligible Neurosurgeon sought to join a Level I Trauma Center's multidisciplinary neuroscience program. The role supports an in-hospital outpatient clinic, collaborates with neurosurgery, neurology, critical care, emergency medicine, and other specialties, and works with four dedicated Advanced Practice Providers. On-call coverage is included within a comprehensive compensation and total rewards package, which features signing bonus, concierge relocation services, PT/O/T, CME funds, malpractice coverage, and physician leadership development. The successful candidate will provide patient care aligned with the program's goals in stroke and neuroscience, participate in the OSF HealthCare system, and maintain appropriate privileges and medical staff membership. Residency/training and continued professional development are encouraged within a supportive academic-community environment in Rockford, Illinois.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Licensed to practice medicine in Illinois, or eligible for Illinois license.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
