Neurosurgeon / Neurosurgery

Conduct general neurosurgery procedures for patients with brain and spine disorders within a vertically integrated health system serving over 3.2 million residents. Manage daytime and nocturnal appointments supported by dedicated neuro-intensivists, hospitalists, and critical care teams. Utilize state-of-the-art equipment including a Siemens 7T MRI scanner, Zeiss KINEVO® microscope, and StealthStationTM Surgical Navigation system for clinical and research applications. Collaborate with the Carle Neuroscience Institute on comprehensive stroke care, epilepsy center services, and clinical trials, while engaging in translational research projects with the University of Illinois Beckman Institute. Teach medical students through the Carle Illinois College of Medicine and participate in faculty appointments focused on the intersection of engineering and medicine.
