Neurosurgeon / Neurosurgery

Conduct general neurosurgery services for patients with brain and spine disorders within a vertically integrated health system serving over 3.2 million people in Central and Southern Illinois. Manage daytime and nocturnal appointments while collaborating with dedicated neuro-intensivists, neurology, and critical-care support teams. Utilize state-of-the-art equipment including a Siemens 7T MRI scanner and Zeiss KINEVO® microscope for clinical and research use. Participate in clinical trials and translational research projects through the Carle Neuroscience Institute and University of Illinois Beckman Institute. Teach medical students via the Carle Illinois College of Medicine and maintain faculty appointment opportunities.
