Job Summary

Drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within the San Francisco territory by calling on healthcare professionals and mental health community centers in-person and virtually. Develop superior product and disease state knowledge to engage in clinical dialogues, while customizing client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant manner. Create local strategic and tactical plans, manage budget and expense allocation, and collaborate with stakeholders to capitalize on formulary approvals and business opportunities. Maintain current market understanding and share insights with internal teams, ensuring timely administrative management of work hours, sales data, and expense reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in healthcare sales/account management, or business to business sales, or recently transitioned from Active-Duty Military 3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid driver's license
  • Safe driving record
  • Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers
  • Ability to act with high integrity and always in accordance with the Company's Compliance policies and procedures
  • Strong sense of self-motivation, initiative, and entrepreneurial thirst
  • Excellent decision-making judgment
  • Strong teaming/collaboration and cross-functional skills
  • Ability to be agile and adapt to the changing telemedicine/virtual environment
  • Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives as well as diagnose performance issues and identify new opportunities
  • Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to a diverse customer audience
  • Ability to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to be available for meetings scheduled outside of normal working hours
  • Must be able to perform some overnight travel depending on geography
  • Must be able to perform some domestic travel to corporate headquarters, training and sales meetings on a periodic basis

Desired Qualifications

  • Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bi-polar sales experience
  • Recently transitioned from Active-Duty Military 3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over time
