Job Summary

Promote Acadia products to healthcare professionals in person and virtually, delivering clinical, disease state, and reimbursement information in a compliant manner. Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet or exceed sales objectives by leveraging market data and customer insights. Establish strong relationships with key opinion leaders, advocacy organizations, and healthcare stakeholders while addressing objections using advanced dialogue skills. Tailor approved sales aids and brand resources to specific customer needs and partner with internal colleagues to deliver coordinated solutions. Provide guidance on product pricing, reimbursement, and specialty distribution channels, acting as a liaison for access-related issues. Accurately track and report sales activities, business expenses, and customer interactions in a timely manner. Represent the company at conferences, exhibits, and trainings, and mentor new sales specialists as needed. This role requires significant travel, including up to 80% of the time involving overnight stays and air travel, with a base salary ranging from $92,000 to $155,000 depending on level.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of sales experience
  • 1 year in pharmaceutical, and/or other related healthcare sales
  • Must reside within the territory (or within 30 miles of its border)
  • Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to meet travel requirements, including significant driving and overnight stays; air travel as needed
  • Must comply with vaccination requirements for HCP office access, long-term care facilities, and medical conferences
  • Ability to travel independently overnight and/or work after hours as required by travel schedule or business needs
  • Travel may be up to 80% of the time
  • Requires eligibility to drive a company vehicle
  • Ability to travel independently by air
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and deliver consistently high results

  • 1 year in pharmaceutical, and/or other related healthcare sales, with an emphasis on neuroscience
  • Minimum of 5 years of healthcare sales
  • Minimum of 12 years of healthcare sales
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in complex or account-based selling environments
