Job Summary
Neuroscience Sales Specialist to cover the Portland East, OR territory. Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales objectives by calling on healthcare professionals and Mental Health Community Centers in-person and virtually, developing local business plans, optimizing resource usage within assigned budgets, and tailoring discussions to customer needs in a compliant, patient-centric manner. Maintains current knowledge of the local market, practices, and key influencers; shares insights with stakeholders; collaborates with team members to achieve objectives; provides accurate administrative data (hours, calls, expenses); completes required trainings and adapts to telemedicine/virtual engagement as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in healthcare sales/account management, or business to business sales, or recently transitioned from Active-Duty Military
- 3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives and identify new opportunities
- ability to establish new customer relationships and communicate technical information to a diverse audience
- excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with travel as needed
- ability to adapt to telemedicine/virtual client interactions
- work hours may include meetings outside normal hours
- territories may require overnight travel
