Job Summary
Drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within the Madison, WI territory by calling on healthcare professionals and mental health community centers both in-person and virtually. Develop superior product and disease state knowledge to engage in clinical dialogues, while creating local strategic and tactical plans that include differential resource allocation and effective budget management. Customize client interactions based on customer needs and maintain current understanding of the local market to share insights with internal stakeholders. Collaborate with regional business managers to develop business plans, capitalize on formulary approvals, and share best practices with other specialists. Accountable for timely administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, and expense reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in healthcare sales/account management, or business to business sales, or recently transitioned from Active-Duty Military 3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid driver's license
- Safe driving record
- Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers
- Ability to act with high integrity and always in accordance with the Company's Compliance policies and procedures
- Strong sense of self-motivation, initiative, and entrepreneurial thirst
- Excellent decision-making judgment
- Strong teaming/collaboration and cross-functional skills
- Ability to be agile and adapt to the changing telemedicine/virtual environment
- Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives as well as diagnose performance issues and identify new opportunities
- Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to a diverse customer audience
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to be available for meetings scheduled outside of normal working hours
- Must be able to handle some overnight travel depending on geography
- Must be able to handle some domestic travel to corporate headquarters, training and sales meetings on a periodic basis
Desired Qualifications
- Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bi-polar sales experience
- Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over time
- If under 18 years of age, ability to obtain necessary working papers or other documentation required by state law to start the assignment, as well as get a parent's consent for the background check
