Job Summary

Drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within the Greenville, SC territory by calling on healthcare professionals and mental health community centers in-person and virtually. Develop superior product and disease state knowledge to engage in clinical dialogues while customizing client interactions based on customer needs. Create local strategic and tactical plans, allocate resources effectively, and manage budgets and expense reporting within assigned territories. Collaborate with regional stakeholders to develop business plans and share market insights on evolving customer practices. Complete all required training and maintain accurate administrative management of work hours and sales data.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in healthcare sales/account management, or business to business sales, or recently transitioned from Active-Duty Military 3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid driver's license
  • Safe driving record
  • Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers
  • Ability to act with high integrity and always in accordance with the Company's Compliance policies and procedures
  • Strong sense of self-motivation, initiative, and entrepreneurial thirst
  • Excellent decision-making judgment
  • Strong teaming/collaboration and cross-functional skills
  • Ability to be agile and adapt to the changing telemedicine/virtual environment
  • Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives as well as diagnose performance issues and identify new opportunities
  • Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to a diverse customer audience
  • Ability to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to obtain necessary working papers or other documentation required by state law to start the assignment (if under 18 years of age)
  • Parent's consent for the background check (if under 18 years of age)
  • Must be able to work hours including meetings scheduled outside of normal working hours
  • Must be able to handle some overnight travel depending on geography
  • Must be able to handle some domestic travel to corporate headquarters, training and sales meetings on a periodic basis

Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals
  • Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bi-polar sales experience
  • Passion for patients, tenacity for results, ability to adapt and evolve, entrepreneurial thirst for working in an energizing and winning culture
  • Proven track record of success in learning and adapting to an evolving environment such as Covid-19 in order to overcome obstacles and challenges
