Neuroscience Operating Room RN Part-Time

Job Summary
Conduct patient and family-centered care in the Neuroscience Operating Room, developing individualized nursing plans that address physical, psychological, and social needs while respecting cultural beliefs. Partner with patients and designated care partners to identify learning priorities, provide education on conditions and medications, and coordinate discharge planning with follow-up arrangements. Minimize risk of harm by following established protocols, utilizing evidence-based practice to monitor care outcomes, and actively participating in safety and quality improvement committees. Maintain accurate health information documentation and function effectively within inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate, and coordinated care.
Required Qualifications
- Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

- RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania or RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_NJ - State of New Jersey
- Active RN license required in state of practice
- Lift and carry 40-50 lbs
- Frequent to continuous standing/walking
- Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift
- Activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree BSN or completion of BSN or appropriate advanced degree within 3 years of hire
- 1 year Previous experience as an RN in an acute care setting
