Job Summary
Provide direct patient care for adults with neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's, and seizures on a 30-bed inpatient unit. Perform patient assessments, administer medications, manage IV therapy, and deliver wound care while utilizing the Epic EHR system. Collaborate with the Med/Surg team to develop and execute individualized care plans for patients with complex brain and nervous system disorders. New graduates and experienced nurses are available for both day and night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- BSN
- current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Missouri
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- current LPN license within the hiring state
- meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire
