Job Summary
The Neuroscience Account Manager will execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy, collaborate with the District Sales Manager, analyze market performance, and communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills. The role requires a high level of product, disease, competitive, and market reimbursement knowledge. A minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience is preferred, along with a Bachelor's degree and proven sales results. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, be customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities. Some travel is required, including local and occasional overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving history
- Ability to travel, including possible overnight travel
Desired Qualifications
- Atypical anti-psychotic experience
- Orphan drug experience
- Reimbursement experience
- Specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS or pain management
- Existing relationships with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers
Additional Requirements
- Candidates not meeting the work experience requirements may be considered for the “Associate” role
- Must reside within territory geography
