Job Summary
Neuroradiologist with fellowship training and a subspecialty focus in brain PET and dementia imaging. The successful candidate will join a team of radiologists to provide subspecialized neuroradiology services, teach residents and medical students, and participate in leadership and research opportunities. The role offers a choice of locations within the NYC metro area (New York City, Northern Westchester, Long Island suburban locations) with consideration for remote work. The department is affiliated with Northwell Health and Hofstra/Northwell, featuring state-of-the-art imaging centers, comprehensive IT/PACS infrastructure, and opportunities for collaboration across academic and community hospitals, teaching, and research support.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship trained neuroradiologist
- special interest in brain PET (molecular neuroimaging) and dementia imaging
- active involvement in teaching residents in an ACGME approved diagnostic radiology residency program
- faculty appointment at Hofstra/Northwell
- experience with continuous research and collaboration with clinical colleagues
- availability for in-person, remote, or hybrid work arrangements in the NYC metro area
