Job Summary
Perform Electroencephalogram (EEG) studies and monitor in-patient Video EEG for uninterrupted, clean recordings. Work closely with Neurology to conduct scheduled and unscheduled tests, effectively understanding study goals and implications for patient lifestyle. Provide service education to staff and ancillary departments to enhance patient care. Requires one to two years of Long Term Monitoring/EEG experience, a vocational school credential, and Basic Life Support certification. This full-time day-shift position at Wolfson Children's Hospital, part of Baptist Health, supports advanced neurodiagnostic care including long-term epilepsy monitoring and intraoperative neuromonitoring.
Required Qualifications
- One-Two Years Long Term Monitoring/EEG Experience
- Vocational School
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Positions designated as requiring a level II Background ( A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment
