Job Summary
Perform all aspects of diagnostic testing in the EEG Lab, including managing GE Carescape R860 vents, Servo I vents, Drager VN500 and HFOV NICU vents, Phillips V60, Bubble CPAP, REMstar CPAP, Smart Vest, and Airvo. Assist with bronchoscopy using Glidescope disposables and conduct inpatient EKGs on general care floors. Shadow the department and facility to understand workflows before joining the team of approximately 50 members across adult cardiac, medical/surgical ICU, progressive care, and NICU units. This role offers opportunities to cross-train on PFTs and NICU care, with options to participate in annual pulmonary conferences and leadership development classes.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- CPR
Desired Qualifications
- Some college
- Six (6) months of direct patient care experience
- 2 years of non-patient care healthcare experience
- Obtain registry through ABRET in one area of neurodiagnostics
- Registered Polysomnographic Tech by BRPT
- Experience with research and analysis of data
- Experience with editing collateral
