Job Summary
Neurophysiologist providing intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgery in North Carolina. Responsibilities include monitoring patient nervous system, communicating monitoring information to the surgical team, labeling and interpreting waveforms (latencies, amplitudes, conduction times), troubleshooting to ensure accurate data collection, completing documentation and maintaining IOM logs, and ensuring equipment maintenance and compliance with company policies. The role involves field-based work with travel up to 25% and requires CNIM certification or equivalent, a Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree), and OR experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree)
- minimum of 2 years of related experience
- CNIM certification (Certified in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring)
- Knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM)
- Operating Room (OR) experience preferred
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to travel up to 25%
- ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges
