Job Summary
Registered Nurse 2 in the Neuromedicine Pain Treatment Center provides direct patient care per established standards in a fast-paced, offsite procedural area. Per diem daytime position with responsibilities that may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member roles. Procedures include injections, infusions, nerve blocks, and spinal cord stimulator trails; requires active NYS license, ACLS within one year, and strong IV skills. Must have 3 years of experience in Med/Surg, ambulatory care, or OR (experience in these areas is a plus). Emphasizes patient education, telephone triage, and collaboration with Neurosurgery; excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Active NYS license
- ACLS within one year of hire
- 3 years of experience in Med/Surg, ambulatory care, or OR
- Excellent IV skills
