Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive medical services for patients in both practice and hospital settings. Perform history and physical examinations, evaluate health care needs, and initiate treatment via prescriptions, diagnostic tests, and procedures. Review lab results, coordinate patient care, and communicate with referring physicians, patients, and families regarding treatment programs. Educate patients and families on wellness habits and prevention strategies while collaborating with nurses, psychologists, and outside agencies. Maintain knowledge of current medical practices and adhere to standardized orders and practice guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty
- Current or recent experience in area of specialty
- MD or DO - licensed by the state licensure board within the State of practice
- Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate medical board
