Job Summary
One-year non-ACGME headache medicine fellowship for MD or DO physicians. The program provides hands-on procedural training (chemodenervation, cranial nerve blocks, shunt adjustments) within a high-volume, multidisciplinary headache medicine clinic and includes rotations with subspecialties such as Interventional Radiology, Neuroradiology, Neurosurgery, Orofacial Pain, Pediatric Neurology, Physical Therapy, Psychiatry & Psychology, and Sleep Medicine, with a rotation through Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Eligible physicians are trained to diagnose and manage headache disorders, with the goal of advancing expertise in headache care within Banner University Medical Center Phoenix.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Completion (or pending completion) of a U.S.-based residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Neurology
- Passion and enthusiasm for helping headache patients
