Job Summary
Neurologist needed for a diagnostic neurology role focused on EEG/EMG testing to support orthopedic care. Responsibilities include performing neurological evaluations, conducting EEGs and EMGs, interpreting results, collaborating with orthopedic specialists, providing neurological consultations, developing tailored treatment plans, educating patients about conditions and rehabilitation, and maintaining accurate documentation. Board-certified or board-eligible candidates with experience in EEG/EMG and strong teamwork skills are preferred; prior orthopedic setting experience and flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time) are welcome. Great location on Long Island, NY with access to advanced medical technology.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist
- Experience in diagnostic neurology, specifically EEG and EMG procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing patient loads as needed
