Job Summary
Diagnose and treat neurological conditions in companion animals through advanced examinations and diagnostic procedures. Develop treatment plans for neurological disorders while utilizing imaging tools to support patient care. Collaborate with specialists and emergency clinicians to ensure comprehensive treatment and communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses and prognosis. Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation. Board-certified or board-eligible neurologists are required for this role at a specialty and emergency veterinary hospital in Springfield, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology (ACVIM or equivalent)
- Active or eligible veterinary license
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in neurology
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
