Job Summary
Diagnose and treat neurological conditions in companion animal patients through neurological examinations and advanced diagnostic procedures. Develop and manage treatment plans for neurological disorders while utilizing advanced imaging tools to support patient care. Collaborate with specialists and emergency veterinarians to ensure comprehensive treatment, and communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis. Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation. This role is part of a collaborative team of specialists and emergency clinicians at a specialty and emergency veterinary hospital equipped with modern diagnostic technology.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology (ACVIM or equivalent)
- Active or eligible veterinary license
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in neurology
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Interest in leadership or service development is a plus
