Neurologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Inpatient Facility inCharleston, South Carolina

Provide inpatient consult-only neurology coverage on 12-hour on-site shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) with 12 hours of on-call coverage (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Manage stroke, seizure, EEG interpretation and other neurological conditions, supervising the APP on the service. Tele-neuro coverage through an outside group handles initial strokes overnight, resulting in a generally quiet call. Average daily census is ~20 patients. Board certification in Neurology is required. Location is on-site in Charleston, SC, with additional coverage at Eastover, SC. The role involves coordinating neurology consultations, stroke management protocols, and ongoing patient care within an inpatient setting, including supervision of the APP and liaison with telestroke services.
