Job Summary
Independent contractor Neurologist-IME responsible for impartial medical evaluations and chart reviews to support disability and workers’ compensation decisions nationwide. Conduct in-person examinations when required, assess functional limitations and impairment, and produce well-structured, evidence-based medical reports that clearly communicate clinical reasoning and conclusions while complying with licensing requirements and MMRO quality standards. Preferred experience includes IMEs/QMEs, familiarity with AMA Guides, and knowledge of workers’ compensation or disability programs; role offers flexible scheduling and collaboration with MMRO’s Panel Health Program.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license
- Board certification in your specialty
- Minimum of 3–5 years of post-training clinical experience
- Strong analytical and written communication skills
- Commitment to objective, evidence-based medical assessment
