Job Summary
Neurologist needed in a Bronx, NY multi-specialty practice. Responsibilities include diagnosing complex neurological problems from patient history and exams, counseling patients on neurological disorders, ordering and interpreting neuroimaging and neurological tests, prescribing treatments, monitoring cognitive/behavioral side effects, arranging supportive care, participating in neuroscience research, liaising with community hospitals, and staying current with advances in neurology. Perform specialized procedures such as sleep disorders, neuroimmunology, neuro-oncology, behavioral neurology, neurogenetics; conduct lumbar punctures, EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction velocity tests.
