Neurologic Music Therapist

Conduct individual and group Neurologic Music Therapy sessions for clients with diagnoses such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, and Parkinson's disease across inpatient, outpatient, home, and telehealth settings. Perform comprehensive assessments to develop treatment plans, implement interventions in sensorimotor, speech, and cognitive domains, and document progress through regular reports and discharge summaries. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and parents to coordinate care, while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and sanitizing equipment. Develop in-home programs for patient independence and present educational in-services to internal and external audiences. Requires MT-BC and NMT credentials, a vehicle for client travel, and flexibility to work within partnering hospital facilities like Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.
