Job Summary
Provide outpatient care to patients with Multiple Sclerosis and other neuroimmunological disorders under the supervision of licensed physicians. Assess and manage patient health history, perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop and implement treatment plans with medications and injections, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based care. Educate patients and families, document visits and treatment plans, participate in quality assurance and guideline development, and maintain patient confidentiality and advocacy while leveraging electronic medical records (Athena). Preferred experience includes neurology, ACLS certification, and bilingual English/Spanish. The role emphasizes outpatient clinical practice in Scottsdale, AZ under physician supervision, with emphasis on case management, patient education, and collaboration across care teams.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed and certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant and be in good standing
- Graduate of licensed and accredited nursing or physician assistant's school. National Board Certification required
- Current CPR certification
- At least three (3) years of experience in an outpatient clinical practice
