Job Summary
Provide outpatient neuroimmunology care for patients with Multiple Sclerosis and other neuroimmunological disorders under physician supervision. Assess patient health histories, perform examinations, order and interpret tests, and develop evidence-based treatment plans. Prescribe medications and injections in compliance with guidelines and state laws; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; educate patients and families; maintain thorough medical records; participate in peer reviews, quality assurance, and ongoing education; act as a consultant to the clinical team and promote patient advocacy. Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with national certification is required, along with CPR certification and 3+ years of outpatient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed and certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant and be in good standing.
- Graduate of licensed and accredited nursing or physician assistant's school.
- National Board Certification required.
- Current CPR certification.
- At least three (3) years of experience in an outpatient clinical practice.
