Job Summary
Neurohospitalist position at Geisinger Community Medical Center involves managing a neurology consult service with support from advanced practitioners and residents. The role includes participation in a system-wide tele-stroke and nighttime tele-neurology coverage, shift work with no nighttime call, teaching medical students and residents with opportunities for faculty appointments, and involvement in a robust video-EEG monitoring program with remote readings. There are in-person and telemedicine moonlighting opportunities across the campus, and a competitive compensation and benefits package including loan repayment, sign-on bonus, retirement plans, CME reimbursement, malpractice tail coverage, and life/disability coverage. Education requirement is Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with Pennsylvania licensure.
