Job Summary
Bayhealth Medical Center seeks a Neurohospitalist to provide direct patient care across ambulatory and hospital settings in Delaware. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, interpreting diagnostic tests, providing patient education and counseling, ensuring coverage during business hours, maintaining credentialing and licensure (Delaware medical license and DEA where required), and adhering to medical staff bylaws. The role requires ongoing pharmacologic dispensing appropriate to patient age and conditions, and meeting credentialing and CME requirements. The position supports hospital-based and ambulatory care with potential evening/weekend duties as mutually agreed, and involves upholding clinical, technical, and surgical skills to the level of credentialing. Education required: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with residency completion; board certification/eligibility as dictated by Bayhealth Medical Staff Bylaws. Location of practice includes BH Medical Group Physician Practices in Delaware with campuses in Dover, Milford, and other regional sites. Required Qualifications
- Education: Doctor of Medicine; Residency completed
- BC/BE as applicable by Bayhealth Medical Staff Bylaws
- Physician MD or DO licensure; CSR (if required by defined duties); DEA (if required)
