Job Summary
Perform the functions of the Neurodiagnostic Technologist in an Epilepsy monitoring unit, including routine lab procedures such as evoked potentials and EEG. Review and edit I.P. video monitoring and conduct routine EEG at an off-site office. Requires three years in the neurodiagnostic field or epilepsy monitoring unit experience, background in digital EEG, and two years under supervision of a Registered EEG Tech. Sphenoidal electrodes experience is a plus. Successful completion of the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) examination is preferred. Required Qualifications
- 3 years in the neurodiagnostic field
- experience in epilepsy monitoring unit
- Experience in review and editing of I.P. video monitoring
- Background in digital EEG
- two years under supervision of Registered EEG Tech
Desired Qualifications
- Spenoidal electrodes
- Prefer graduate of accredited EEG School
- Successful completion of the examination by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET)
