Job Summary
Performs quality EEGs including awake and asleep studies, video EEGs, cerebral silence, photic stimulation, portable EEGs and other studies in the department; conducts calibrations and evaluations of EEG equipment to achieve high-quality recordings; follows 10-20 system per ACNS guidelines and department procedures; communicates with physicians and team members regarding tests and transfers; recognizes life-threatening EEG patterns; trainees receive supervision and instruction in performing EEG examinations; non-management role reporting to a supervisor/director.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a formal neurodiagnostic program preferred
